Congress in Rajasthan finds itself mired in controversy once again as Aradhana Mishra made a controversial statement during a party meeting in Jaipur. The Congress party in Rajasthan finds itself mired in controversy once again, as Aradhana Mishra, a Congress legislator and the party's observer in the state, made a controversial statement during a party meeting in Jaipur. Mishra reportedly asked party workers to refrain from chanting "Bharat Mata Ji Chants" and encouraged them to chant pro-Congress slogans instead. This move has ignited a fresh wave of political debate in the state. The incident took place on Monday during a Congress meeting in Jaipur, where party leaders and their supporters engaged in heated arguments and even physical altercations. Amid the chaos, slogans were raised by the supporters present at the meeting, which caught the attention of Aradhana Mishra. In an attempt to restore order and discipline, she took the microphone and declared, "If any single slogan is chanted to anyone, it will be considered as indiscipline." In response to this declaration, "Bharat Mata ki Jai" slogans reverberated throughout the meeting hall. Mishra, reacting to the slogans, looked towards the source and urged the attendees, "If you love to chant slogans, then chant pro-Congress slogans and no other." The remarks made by Aradhana Mishra have stirred a political hornet's nest, with the Opposition seizing the opportunity to criticise the Congress party. Shehzad Poonawalla, a national spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), was quick to condemn Mishra's statement. Poonawalla said, "Congress observer Aaradhna Tiwari says chanting Bharat Mata Ki Jai is indiscipline; chant Congress Zindabad instead. Earlier too in Rajasthan, Congress threatened workers against chanting Bharat Mata ki Jai and said chant Sonia Ji Ki Jai. This is what happens when you put Party, Parivar above Nation." "Congress has a long history of abusing, insulting Bharat Mata, Bharat Ki Sena & Bharat ki Janta & Bharat Ki Sanskriti... from questioning surgical strike to saying the elimination of Sanatan to demanding foreign intervention into India," the BJP leader leader tweeted. BJP's Priti Gandhi also slammed the Grand Old Party saying, "Congress is not only anti-Hindu & anti-Sanatan but also anti-National. In the Congress Committee meeting held at Jaipur, Rajasthan, co-ordinator Aradhana Tiwari objected to chanting 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai', calling it "indiscipline". Whether its their local leaders or top leadership, the mindset of their entire party is rotten to the core!"
